Italian Rosso

Italian Rosso from Mathieu Teisseire is a syrup in the style of classic Italian bitter liqueurs — deep ruby red, with a distinct herbal note. Mathieu Teisseire is one of the oldest syrup manufacturers in France, founded in 1720 in Grenoble, and stands for precise aroma work beyond industrial mass-produced goods.

In the glass, the syrup shows aromas of orange peel, gentian, and dark forest berries, underpinned by a pleasant bitterness that is reminiscent of aperitif classics. The consistency is dense, the finish long and spicy. Store in a cool, dry place; consume promptly after opening. Fits in spritz variations with Prosecco and soda water, as a base for mocktails, or over vanilla ice cream as a quick dessert.
