Falesco Vitiano Rosso
The grapes for Vitiano Rosso grow at 200 meters above sea level in the Ovieto region. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, and the wine is aged for three months in oak barrels. The result is an intense ruby-red wine with purple reflections. Its bouquet is characterized by fruity aromas balanced with woody notes. On the palate, it is fresh and fruity, accompanied by pleasant acidity and present tannins. Although powerful in flavor, it leaves a rounded, harmonious impression.

As early as the 1960s, a small winery, primarily for their own production, was founded by Antonio and Domenico Cotarella. In 1979, their hobby became a full-fledged winery, named "Falesco," whose initial goal was to cultivate the old vines in the region. Twenty years later, production was so successful that they were able to purchase the Marcialano farm, adding another 260 hectares of land. This farm is located on a hill in the region around Ovieto, within the municipalities of Montecchio and Baschi. In 2016, the next generation took over: Dominga, Marta, and Enrica assumed leadership. In 2017, they acquired their most recent winery in Tuscany, "LeMacioche."
