Château Le Coteau

Château Le Coteau demonstrates what classic Bordeaux means: dark fruit, subtle spice and a tannin framework that provides structure without dominating.

The château is located in Bordeaux, a region with decades of experience in the art of blending. Sandy and clay soils shape the character of the wines here – mineral, with a clear line and good aging potential.

In the glass: Dark forest berries, blackberry, and violet form the aromatic foundation. In the background, woody notes emerge – cedarwood, a hint of tobacco. On the palate, it is juicy and dense, the tannins are integrated and silky, and the finish is mineral and lingering.

  • Aromas: Blackberry, wild raspberry, violet, cedarwood, tobacco
  • Tannins: medium-fine, well integrated
  • Finish: mineral, long

Serving suggestion: Serve at 16–18 °C. Pairs well with herb-crusted lamb loin, entrecôte, or aged Comté cheese. It also makes a good accompaniment to hearty braised dishes. Drinking window: now until 2028.

Château Le Coteau

Do you know what makes one of the last family-run estates in the famous Margaux region so special? It's Château Le Coteau .

For six generations, the Léglise family has cultivated their 12 hectares of vineyards – without herbicides or insecticides. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grapes grow in the gravelly soils. The result: a full-bodied, velvety wine with notes of cassis and pepper. A true Margaux tradition!
