Gebrüder Pfund Dresden —
Delicacies from the oldest dairy shop in the world

Since 1880, the name Gebrüder Pfund has stood for dairy craftsmanship and delicacies from Dresden. Paul Gustav Leander and Friedrich Pfund founded the dairy in the Äußere Neustadt — and created a piece of Saxon commercial history with the shop at Bautzner Straße 79. From 1892, the walls and ceilings of the shop were decorated with hand-painted tiles from the Dresden earthenware factory of Villeroy & Boch. In 1998, the Guinness Book of Records included the dairy shop as the most beautiful of its kind in the world — a title that still holds today.

What Pfund carries in its range comes from the region: cheese and specialties from farms and producers in Wehlen, Stolpen, Wehrsdorf, and Wittichenau. No in-house production, but consistent curation — short distances, familiar faces, Saxon craftsmanship. This also includes the caramel cream (confiture de lait), which is one of the house's enduring classics.

In the Vinoscout range, you will find a selection of this Dresden delicatessen line: ideal as a supplement to a cheese course, as a gift, or for the moment when you want something special — without any fuss.
