Vignobles Ballarin Château Roc de Levraut Bordeaux liter
An everyday Bordeaux in a liter bottle — for the table that knows no fuss, but still demands quality.
Vignobles Ballarin is a family-run winery in the Bordeaux region that focuses on approachable, easy-drinking red wines made from the classic Bordeaux grape varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Château Roc de Levraut embodies the estate's uncomplicated, honest style—without extensive barrel aging, but with a pronounced fruitiness.
In the glass, it displays a deep, purplish-ruby red. The nose offers aromas of Morello cherries, blackcurrant, and a hint of cocoa, along with a light earthy spice typical of Bordeaux. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with soft, ripe tannins and fresh berry fruit that carries through to the short, chocolatey finish.
Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Pairs well with pasta with meat sauce, grilled sausage, leg of lamb, or a strong semi-hard cheese. The liter size makes it ideal for larger gatherings or serving by the glass—simply pour, and you're done.
