Château Mille Roses AOC Haut-Medoc - ORGANIC
A Haut-Médoc that shows what young commitment can achieve on old Bordeaux terroir: fruity and spicy, with a solid backbone and a drinkability that doesn't require a long wait.
Sophie and David Faure founded Château Mille Roses in 1999—young for the Médoc, where many estates boast centuries of history. On just 9.5 hectares of sandy-gravelly soils, the family-run winery practices organic viticulture and primarily cultivates Cabernet Sauvignon. The soils are reminiscent of the great crus of the Left Bank: well-drained, warm, and perfectly suited to Cabernet Sauvignon.
In the glass, the wine displays ripe dark cherries, blackberry, and a hint of cedar—typical of a well-made Médoc Cabernet. The tannins are present but not harsh; the structure is firm without being restrictive. The finish is clean and medium-long with a slightly spicy note.
Best served at 16–18 °C . Pairs well with braised beef, leg of lamb with herbs, or a strong hard cheese. Drinking window: now until 2028.
