Bonito del Norte and Aceite de Oliva
Bonito del Norte —the albacore tuna from the Cantabrian Sea—is considered the finest tuna species in the Atlantic. Ramón Peña from Galicia processes the catch using traditional methods: each fish is individually selected, cleaned by hand, and preserved in the finest olive oil. No additives.
The Pesca de Rías quality label stands for origin from the Galician Rias — cool, oxygen-rich coastal waters that give the fish its firm, light flesh.
The texture is juicy and fibrous, with a mild seafood note and the rounded character of olive oil. No fishy aftertaste.
On toasted bread with tomato, in a pintxo with peppers, or with a green lentil salad. Wine pairings: Albariño from Rías Baixas or a dry Manzanilla.
