A quarter of a century ago, entrepreneur and wine enthusiast Alain Thiénot decided to found his own Champagne house. Under the name "Champagne Thiénot," he began a small but exquisite production in this renowned sparkling wine region. His courage and entrepreneurial vision paid off, as today his fine Champagnes are among the best in the region – a true success! Supported by his daughter Garance and his son Stanislas, Alain Thiénot has developed the Thiénot Champagne house into a modern, innovative, and respected brand. Of particular note is the entry-level quality of their "Brut," which, thanks to intensive bottle aging (48 months), offers a wonderfully complex structure. The perfect balance of power and finesse, along with the creamy bubbles and ripe fruit aromas, embodies the unmistakable style of Champagne Thiénot.

Champagne Thiénot —
A family-run house with depth from the Champagne region

Alain Thiénot founded his champagne house about 25 years ago — not as the heir to a long dynastic history, but out of entrepreneurial conviction and a genuine passion for sparkling wine. What began as a small, carefully curated production is today a respected house in Champagne, which is being continued by Alain's children, Garance and Stanislas, in the second generation.

The house style combines power with finesse: the Brut Thiénot ages for at least 48 months on the lees — three times longer than the EU minimum for non-vintage champagne. The result is a creamy perlage, ripe fruit aromas, and a structure that still poses questions even after the first sip. Not a loud, intrusive style, but one that opens up with some time in the glass.

Those looking for champagne that goes beyond the aperitif will find in Thiénot a reliable companion for poultry, scallops, or a ripe Brie de Meaux.
