Finca Constancia Parcela 23 Tempranillo

Tempranillo from a single plot — at Finca Constancia, this means no blending, but a clear promise of origin from one of the hottest wine regions in central Spain.

The winery is located in the DO Toledo, southwest of Madrid, at an altitude of approximately 700 meters. Parcela 23 is a designated single plot within the estate — the name stands for selective vinification: only grapes from this one block, aged in oak barrels with deliberately applied toasty aromas.

In the glass, it displays a deep cherry-ruby red with violet reflections. The nose is dominated by blackberry and blackcurrant, followed by dark chocolate, coffee, and a hint of toast from the barrel aging. On the palate, the wine is juicy and full-bodied—the tannins are well-integrated, and the acidity is fresh enough to provide structure. The finish is long and lingering, with dark fruit and a touch of clove.

Serving suggestion: Best served at 16–18 °C. Pairs well with braised lamb loin, Iberico chorizo, or a robust Manchego cheese. It's also delicious on its own after a long evening. Drinking window: now until 2028.
