Finca Constancia Altozano Verdejo & Sauvignon Blanc

Finca Constancia Altozano Verdejo & Sauvignon Blanc
Two classic white wine grape varieties, one origin: Altozano combines Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc from the Castilian plateau to create a dry white wine with a clear freshness edge and aromatic depth.
Finca Constancia is located in the Denominación de Origen Pago Campo de la Guardia in Castilla-La Mancha — one of Spain's great single vineyards, recognized for the quality of its soils and the extreme continental climate with hot days and cool nights. It is precisely these temperature variations that ensure the grapes retain their natural acidity, even when the sun is intense.
In the glass, the wine displays aromas of gooseberry and citrus peel from the Sauvignon Blanc, complemented by the typical Verdejo notes of fresh grass and white peach. The palate is juicy, with lively acidity and a clean, slightly mineral finish. No oak aging—the fruit is clearly the focus.
Best served at 8–10 °C . Pairs well with garlic prawns, grilled sea bass, fresh goat cheese salads, or as a simple accompaniment to tapas. Also a good choice on its own as an aperitif on warm evenings.
Did you know that one of Spain's most modern wineries is located in the Castile-La Mancha region? That's where Finca Constancia is situated – an avant-garde winery belonging to the renowned González Byass group.
The 230 hectares of vineyards are divided into 82 individual plots , each with its own soil and microclimate. International and local grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Verdejo are grown here.
The modern winery building opened in 2006 and blends perfectly into the landscape. The result is authentic, expressive wines that tell the story of the terroir's diversity. A true taste of Spanish pioneering spirit in a glass!
