A classic Rioja that needs no introduction — because it speaks for itself. The Conde Valdemar Tempranillo Rioja DOCa from the renowned Bodega Valdemar is the ideal introduction to the world of Spanish Tempranillo: approachable, expressive, and expertly crafted.

In the glass, it displays the typical violet, brilliant ruby ​​red color one expects from a good Rioja. The nose opens with ripe berry fruit aromas —blackberry, dark cherry—accompanied by delicate floral notes. On the palate, it remains fruity and lively, with a pleasant freshness that makes it very easy to drink.

According to Wine & Spirits, Bodega Valdemar is among the five best wineries in Rioja of the last 25 years —an accolade earned only through consistent quality. The 2015 vintage was awarded 90 points by the Guía Proensa.
