L'Antesi Casalécchio di Sorbo
The L'Antesi Casalécchio di Sorbo offers an exceptionally flavorful blend of Primitivo and Syrah, once again confirming the winemaking expertise of Puglia. This red wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is then aged in French oak barrels for approximately 10 months. Afterward, the wine matures for at least another 6 months in the bottle. The Casalécchio di Sorbo from L'Antesi displays a deep red color with aromas of ripe blackberries and raspberries, chocolate, and a hint of licorice. On the palate, it is velvety yet possesses considerable substance.

L'Antesi – an Apulian success story. Just a few years ago ridiculed by northern Italians, Apulia now surprises with top-quality, fruit-packed wines. Exactly the taste many love. Powerful, intense, yet with moderate alcohol – often only 12.5 percent. The DOC Squinzano is a completely new discovery, and Salice Salentino is experiencing a major renaissance. The Riserva: a fantastic red wine at an outstanding price. The Cuvée Casalecchio di Sorbo has become a top seller – and not just because of its exceptional bottle. Apulia, as it tastes.
