Scyavuru –
Artisanal delicacies from the heart of Sicily

Scyavuru – the word comes from the Sicilian dialect and means something like fragrance or aroma. Hardly any name could be more fitting: Rosario Tortorici and Nino Tornambè, two brothers-in-law from Ribera in southern Sicily , founded the company in 2005 with the aim of capturing the aromas of their homeland in jars – without compromising on the raw materials.

The foundation of every product is freshly harvested, locally sourced ingredients: blood oranges, almonds, pistachios, tomatoes, and wild herbs cultivated in Sicily for generations. Processing is quick and gentle to preserve color, flavor, and texture. The result is spreads, jams, pestos, and creams that taste like real cooking—not like canned goods.

Scyavuru embodies a gourmet philosophy that prioritizes family tradition and artisanal skill over industrial efficiency. Their products are perfect for a well-chosen cheese board, with fresh bread, or as a base for Sicilian dishes – bringing a taste of the Mediterranean directly to your table.
