San Felice

The Italian winery San Felice, located in Tuscany, was founded in the mid-20th century by the Grisaldi Del Taja family. After several years of success, it was acquired by the Allianz Group in the 1970s with the aim of perfecting Tuscan winemaking. The winery owns over 140 hectares of vineyards, which were divided into five macro-regions in the 1990s. This allowed the winemakers to cultivate each grape variety in the area with the best climate and soil conditions. Among the grape varieties grown are Sagniovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Ciliegiolo, Pugbnitello, and Vermentino. San Felice produces 1.2 million bottles of wine annually and also produces olive oil in addition to its various wine specialties.
