Lamole di Lamole

High above the Chianti Classico region, on a high plateau at around 550 meters altitude , lies the village of Lamole – and right there, at one of the highest points in the entire region, you will find the Lamole di Lamole winery [citation:3]. The name, by the way, comes from the "lame", the stony bands of rock that run through the vineyards [citation:3][citation:7].

The vineyards extend up to 655 meters – this brings cool nights, fresh sea breezes, and a precise, vibrant acidity to the wines. Since 2005, the estate has been organic , relying on natural additives such as aloe, propolis, and orange oil [citation:4]. Particularly intriguing: some wines are aged in egg-shaped barriques , which are said to impart greater roundness and complexity [citation:1]. The Chianti Classico Maggiolo , with its fragrant iris notes, evokes springtime in Tuscany – try it and let yourself be transported!
