Fattoria Montellori
The Italian winery Fattoria Montellori was founded in 1895 by Giuseppe Nieri and has been owned by the Nieri family ever since. The winery is located in Fucecchio, a small town between Florence and Pisa. The grapes are cultivated on a total of 70 hectares of vineyards, divided into two areas: Cerreto Guidi and San Miniato. The vineyards lie approximately 200 meters above sea level and are characterized by clay soils interspersed with shells. Among the grape varieties cultivated by Fattoria Montellori are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Syrah, and Canaiolo.
