Château Lafite Rothschild
The “Lafite Philosophy” is rooted in the richness of a diverse past and a tradition deeply embedded in the soil of the Bordeaux region. It draws on the passing down of an age-old wealth of experience and knowledge from the women and men who have cultivated this land for generations, as well as on the exceptional quality of the wines they contribute to. The “Lafite Philosophy” is also, and perhaps most importantly, an expression of the pioneering spirit that led the group to open itself to the world, producing quality wines in new terroirs outside of France—wines that have themselves become the epitome of the “Lafite Philosophy.” Today, a fifth-generation member of the Rothschild family leads Château Lafite and the DBR (Lafite) group: Baron Eric de Rothschild.
