Hito comes from Spain, more precisely from the Ribera del Duero region, renowned for its excellent red wines. The grapes for Hito come from old Tempranillo vines grown in calcareous soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected to ensure that only the finest grapes make it into the wine. The wine is then aged for six months in French and American oak barrels before release. This process imparts its complex aromas and elegant structure.
