Reinhard Löwenstein is considered one of the pioneers of dry Moselle Riesling. The Uhlen vineyard consists of blue Devonian slate, which retains heat and simultaneously provides the distinctive minerality that makes the wines from this region so unique.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e In the glass, the Laubach displays a cool, firm structure: dried herbs, yellow-fleshed fruit, a hint of bacon, and deeply rooted minerality. On the palate, juicy, vibrant acidity is complemented by supple tannins that provide an unusual grip for a Riesling.
