The vines here are rooted in sun-drenched limestone and gravel terraces, which give the grapes a natural concentration and remarkable density.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the glass, the wine reveals a deep ruby red. The nose is clearly characterized by dark fruit – blackberry and black cherry are in the foreground, directly accompanied by typical southern French garrigue herbs such as thyme and rosemary, as well as a fine note of black pepper. On the palate, the red wine presents itself as powerful and fleshy. The present but well-integrated tannins support the full body and lead into a long-lasting, subtly spicy finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA classic companion for hearty country-style cuisine. Serve this southern Frenchman at a \u003cstrong\u003eserving temperature of 16 to 18 °C\u003c\/strong\u003e.
