It matures for 12 months in small French oak barrels and then lies in the bottle for another 12 months.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the glass, it shows a deep ruby red. On the nose, plum and cherry meet spices and a fine vanilla note from the wood. On the palate, it feels velvety and full-bodied, the tannins are soft, the finish is long. Serve it at \u003cstrong\u003e16–18 °C\u003c\/strong\u003e, ideally after decanting briefly.
