The young wine is aged in different batches until the final blending takes place in spring 2014. 60% of the wine was aged in wooden barrels; the remainder in small French and Hungarian barriques, most of which had already been used for one or two years. A small portion was aged in new barrels. The Villa Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva displays an intense ruby ​​red color and offers an equally intense nose of red fruits such as raspberries and blueberries, followed by hints of oak and spices, with cloves in particular providing an aromatic finish.
