This winery north of Bari has been working with the region's indigenous grape varieties for decades, including Nero di Troia – the basis of Bolonero. This grape variety ripens slowly, develops natural acidity, and in good years produces wines with real structure.

In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red with garnet reflections. The nose offers aromas of dark blackberry, plum, and a hint of dried herbs. The finish offers a touch of spice and a lively acidity.

Serving temperature: 16–18 °C.
