South of Montalcino and very close to the Lisini estate lies Tenuta Collosorbo. The vineyards are situated between 200 and 400 meters above sea level on the southern slopes of the Orcia Valley. Collosorbo is an old castle belonging to the Ciacci family. The wine cellar is housed in one wing of the building. It is well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and has a wonderful atmosphere. The wines are aged in young 50-hectoliter oak barrels. The estate comprises a total of 130 hectares of land, but only about a quarter of it is planted with vines.
