The vines root in the Rosenberg on loam, lime, sand, and Danube gravel. This mixture gives the wine mineral pull and depth. In the nose, dark berries and cassis appear, along with juniper and fine cloves. On the palate, it appears compact, the tannins are elegant, and the finish is long and powerful. The wine is vinified dry.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt is best enjoyed at \u003cstrong\u003e16 to 18 °C\u003c\/strong\u003e. A decanter helps it to open up.
