{"product_id":"pavillon-rouge","title":"Pavillon Rouge","description":"\u003cp\u003ePavillon Rouge is the second wine of Château Margaux – created from parcels and vintages that do not go into the Grand Vin, but still bear the signature of one of the most famous estates in the Médoc.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e Château Margaux cultivates approximately 80 hectares in the eponymous appellation on gravelly-sandy soil, which contributes to the elegance of Margaux wines. The Pavillon Rouge – officially marketed as a separate cuvée since the 1970s – consists predominantly of Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. It is aged in barriques, some of which are new.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e In the glass, a deep purple-red with a violet rim. On the nose, cassis, black cherry, cedarwood, and a hint of graphite – classic Médoc. On the palate, medium to full-bodied, with silky tannins, lively acidity, and a long, spicy finish. Not heavy, but with a clear structure.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003cb\u003eDrinking recommendation:\u003c\/b\u003e Drinkable now, drinking window until approx. 2030. Serving temperature 17–18 °C.
