The Riesling vines grow there on steep, south-facing slopes with red weathered soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and spontaneously fermented; the aging takes place in traditional 1,200-liter wooden barrels. The winery is certified as an organic operation.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the glass is a rich golden yellow. On the nose, mineral notes meet citrus fruits, orange oil, and mandarin, along with sage, blackcurrant leaf, and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and profound, the texture is silky, and fruit, spice, and minerality are in balance.
