The result is a typical example of the modern Rioja style: fruit-forward, but with a distinct oak influence.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e In the glass, it displays aromas of sour cherry and ripe blackberries, along with vanilla and a hint of licorice from the barrel aging. On the palate, it is soft and medium-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and pleasantly present acidity. A balsamic note lingers on the finish, resulting in a well-rounded and approachable wine. The 2019 vintage was awarded a Mundus Vini Gold Medal.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e Serving temperature: 16–18 °C.
