The aging lasted sixteen months in French barrels and a 4,000-liter foudre.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOn the palate, the wine feels dense but not heavy. Dark berry fruit is in the foreground, carried by the wood aging. Added to this is a clear, concise line that extends into the finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eServe it at \u003cstrong\u003e16 to 18 °C\u003c\/strong\u003e and decant it about an hour beforehand. It goes well with braised lamb, grilled beef, or aged Manchego.
