The family-owned bodega was founded in 1890 in the town of Haro in the Rioja Alta region and today encompasses 415 hectares of vineyards with an average age of 25 years. Only estate-grown grapes are used – primarily Tempranillo. The grapes are hand-picked and transported to the bodega under refrigeration. There, after fermentation, they are transferred to handcrafted oak barrels, the wood of which was imported from the USA and dried outdoors for two years.
