The first vintage in 1978 already won the San Francisco Vintners Club Tasting and, ten years later, prevailed against Château Margaux and Château Latour in a blind tasting in Germany. Today, the family manages over 80 hectares in top locations. Winemaker Elias Fernandez, with the company since 1984, has been responsible for the Hillside Select since 1994.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the glass, this Cabernet Sauvignon shows the classic structure of the Stag's Leap sites: dark cassis and blackberry, underscored by cedar wood and a hint of dried herbs.
