Both sites share the same geological conditions: Devonian slate, with a characteristically reddish hue in the Herrenberg. The front parcels resemble the Abtsberg in exposure and soil structure. The cooler areas, surrounded by the forest of the Grüneberg, give the wine additional complexity and individuality. Due to changing climatic conditions, the Herrenberg is now qualitatively on par with the Abtsberg.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the glass, the Riesling appears multi-layered and focused. Mineral depth meets fine elegance; on the palate, it shows a harmonious balance and a long finish.
