The Flora wine originates from two sources: one-third of the grapes come from the hillsides of the Überetsch region at 450–500 meters, and two-thirds from the western side of the Unterland region at 280–400 meters. The soils vary between gravelly-loamy and calcareous, giving the wine both aromatic richness and a mineral edge. The vines are 15 to 25 years old—old enough for concentrated fruit, yet young enough for freshness.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e In the glass, the classic Gewürztraminer profile is revealed: rose, lychee, and orange blossom on the nose, along with a hint of white pepper and ginger.
