The grappa then matures for at least three years in used Ornellaia barrels, twice as long as required. Finally, the master distiller blends it with older stocks to achieve more depth.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the glass, it shows soft aromas and a silky texture. We recommend it neat and slightly tempered, at about \u003cstrong\u003e16 to 18 °C\u003c\/strong\u003e, from a small tulip glass. This allows the fine aromas of the grape skins to best come into their own.
