Guigal, founded in 1946 in Ampuis, is considered a defining house of the appellation. In La Turque, the power of the Côte Brune meets the finer line known from the neighboring Côte Blonde. The grape variety is Syrah, and the wine is dry.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the glass, it shows a deep ruby red with dark reflections. On the nose, small red fruits, sour cherry, and blackberry mingle with powerful, spicy notes. It starts smoothly on the palate, combining softness with concentration and carrying finely drawn tannins.
