The nose offers blackberry compote, dried blueberry, and dry scrub – the typical garrigue profile of the upper Douro. A subtle spice note (black pepper, clove) and a barely perceptible oak influence remain firmly in the background, complementing the fruit. On the palate, it is firmly structured: the tannins are present but fine-grained, and the acidity carries the wine without being harsh.
