The vines grow on volcanic bluestone (sienite), a rock that gives the Gamay a mineral depth rarely found in other parts of Beaujolais.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e In the glass, it displays a deep ruby ​​red color. The nose offers aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, and a hint of violet, underpinned by a subtle earthy note. On the palate, it is fruity and juicy, with pleasantly soft tannins and a lively acidity that keeps the wine light-footed despite its density.
