Today, his children Claudia, Andrea, and Axel continue to run the winery in Sonoma County. Since 2019, another Geisenheim graduate, Johannes Scheid, has been at the lectern as Chief Winemaker.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e In the glass, this Chardonnay displays ripe peach and orange notes, underpinned by apple and citrus for freshness. Toasted oak adds structure and depth without overpowering the fruit.
