The ample daytime warmth contributes to the ripeness and richness of the grapes, while the Kamptal\u0026#39;s updraft draws in the cool air from the Waldviertel region in the evenings and at night, preserving freshness and fruitiness. The ripe grapes are hand-picked into small crates and very gently processed using a pneumatic press. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at 15-20°C and then bottled directly on its fine lees. Even as a young wine, the Riesling Kamptaler Terrassen is expressive and exceptionally compact.
