The winery focuses on Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Vermentino; the Ampio is the red wine that receives the most time and cellaring.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e On the nose, it displays blackcurrant, cassis, and a distinct cedar note from the barrel aging. On the palate, dark plum and a hint of graphite emerge.
