A powerful Apulian wine that works just as well with pasta on a Tuesday evening as it does for a larger group on the weekend. You will always have a bottle on hand, and each one tastes just like the last.

I Tratturi Primitivo Puglia – Feudi di San Marzano (Italy, Apulia)
The cooperative winery is located in San Marzano, almost at the very tip of the Apulian heel. Vines have been cultivated in this area for over 2,000 years, and the cooperative continues this tradition respectfully with its wines. Well-known, accessible wines are created here from local grape varieties. The vines grow at an altitude of around 100 meters, with high average temperatures and very little rainfall. The soil consists predominantly of clay.

In the glass, the Primitivo shows a dark ruby red. Ripe plum and cherry dominate the nose, accompanied by a spicy note of rosemary. On the palate, it is powerful, full-bodied, and soft, with the pleasant warmth for which Apulia's Primitivo is known. The wine is uncomplicated and easy-drinking, without losing its expression.

Pairs well with: Pasta with meat sauce, orecchiette with sausage, grilled lamb, pizza with salami, or aged Pecorino. Serve it at about 16 to 18 °C, so that the fruit and spice are best showcased.

Twelve bottles of the same wine save you money compared to buying them individually. The pack is suitable as a supply for everyday life, as a foundation for parties and barbecues, or as a gift for anyone who likes powerful red wines from the south of Italy. And if you want to get to know Apulia first: with twelve bottles, you can try the wine with many different dishes.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0896/3509/4864/files/12er_sparpaket_i_tratturi_primitivo_puglia_product.png?v=1793204129
